Wenvoe Castle Golf Club was opened in 1936 and designed by James Braid, however, the grounds in which the clubhouse is built date back to the early 1700s. Wenvoe Castle had the privilege of hosting the first ever Welsh Classic tournament in 1979, which included many European Tour legends such as Nick Faldo, Tony Jacklin and Mark James. As the course has been tried and tested by some of the best players in the world you know there is something special to be found here. As well as boasting an impressive golf course, a fantastic clubhouse resides here with a large patio that overlooks the 11th and 18th green, popular with both members and visitors.
Wenvoe Castle Golf Club is a very interesting round of golf and the course that will test all aspects of your game. If you want to score well round here you have to shape the ball both ways and have a solid short-game as the greens can get very quick.
