Two rivers border the course offering a variety of golf shots that are hard enough to test the best yet still provide the beginner with an eventual round that is not too disheartening. The front 9 can play fairly tough but there is good opportunity of scoring on back-to-back par 5s, if you are striking the ball well, as these are the longest holes on the card. The rest of the 18 see no less than five par 3s with the 6th playing medium length over some daunting water. The 14th is the signature starting with a 90-degree dogleg and ending with a shot onto a green, which sits much further below the fairway, with a river running behind to swallow any overzealous shots.
