Created in 1905 and designed by James Braid, Porthmadog is a links of some pedigree. The club professional has been homing his knowledge of the course since 1970, and has a vast amount priceless experience which he is always willing to guide golfers on their upcoming game.
Setting for the television series; The Prisoner, this James Braid course is a visual pleasure to play and is a mix of both heathland and links with the sea breeze playing a major role in how your game plays out. Likened to a ‘miniature Troon’ the holes to look forward to are the 13th on 14th on the end of the peninsula which are the epitome of links golf at its very best.
