Originally laid out in 1907, Abersoch Golf Club is a wonderful mix of links and parkland on the Welsh Riviera. Based on the back of the beach, the course was designed by Harry Vardon (Woodhall Spa, Little Aston, Ganton) and boasts long reaching views to Snowdonia across Cardigan Bay. The clubhouse still has the original slate roof from the early days of the club’s formation and is an excellent spot to enjoy a drink and take in the scenery.
A wonderful links and very often millionaires golf, Abersoch Golf Club is well worth the trip. Have your longer irons handy as they will be vital when the wind blows, you’ll need to keep it low and hit it straight to make the most of the front nine here.
