Prestatyn Golf Club was established in 1905 originally as a 9-hole course and expanded the following year to the basis of the 18 hole layout it is today. In 1990 the course was redeveloped under the advice of Donald Steel to become an impressive championship links. From its humble beginnings back in 1906, the clubhouse was extended and improved in 1993 and with its balcony overlooking the course it is a perfect place to enjoy a drink, a snack or a full course meal.
The most northerly of golf courses in Wales, this championship links course is strongly affected by a prevailing south-west wind which means that a good command of low punch shots will benefit your score sheet.
