Celebrating its centenary in 1995, the Cardross Golf Club sits close to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. The club played host to the Scottish Professional Championships in 1992 with the winner being Paul Lawrie who later went on to become The Open champion in 1999. The clubhouse, as well as a halfway house at the 9th, serve up some great snacks and meals to keep the energy levels up.
This course oozes with quality and should be on every golfers list of courses to play. Why not see if you can follow in the steps of some golfing legends including Harry Vardon and James Braid or, more recently, Paul Lawrie.
