Club Information

Wigtownshire County Golf Club, or the ‘County’ as it is locally known, is a popular destination for both local members and holiday goers in the south west of Scotland. The club has not always operated as 18 holes or even from the clubhouse that it does today. 1894 saw the opening of the original 9 holes and the tennis pavilion clubhouse soon followed. With growing membership and increasing number of visitors over the years much has been improved with the current clubhouse opening in 1972 quickly followed by the full 18 in 1987.
