King’s Links is a traditional Scottish 18 hole Links course that runs parallel to the Aberdeen beach front. Golf was initially played in this area on the neighboring Queen's Links and over the Broad Hill and was recorded in 1661 as 'goffe' on the links between the Don and the Dee. The Queen's Links area was redeveloped, but the Kings Links to the north was developed into a 18 hole course in 1872. Although situated on the beach front, the course layout, incorporating the natural dunes, provides the golfer with a scenic, sheltered and enjoyable round of golf. Kings Links golf course is managed by Golf Aberdeen, which is a sub brand of Sport Aberdeen.
An excellent links course exposed to the elements of the North Sea!
