Formed in 1890 Grantown-on-Spey Golf Club is one of the Scottish Highlands finest parkland courses placing it within the Top 100 Courses in Scotland. The course was originally created with just 6 holes and was then extended to 18 by Willie Park Junior in 1911. Ten years later the course underwent further improvements made by James Braid that have since remained untouched. Situated in the Cairngoms National Park the club offers some of the most spectacular mountainous scenery to be had on a golf course. The clubhouse has been upgraded to modern standards with the most recent refresh providing new locker rooms and an enlarged lounge bar and dining area.
Sitting in the Cairngoms National Park, Grantown-on-Spey Golf Club has some of the best scenery that the Scottish Highlands has to offer. Both Willie Park Junior and James Braid have played a pivotal role in the design of the course earning it a place in the Top 100 Courses in Scotland.
