Course Information

West Lothian Golf Course is a challenging 6,249 yard parkland track. The course demands a thoughtful approach from tee to green and has a number of hazards lurking ready to catch any stray shots out. The club are immensely proud of the test and quality of the course as well as the local reputation that follows it. Aside from the natural hazards, the wind can play a large part in the challenge the course presents and the true rolling putting surfaces and some speedy breaks can also stand in the way of a good score. Aside from the tests on the course it is vital to not become too distracted by the panoramic views that are present throughout your game.

A hidden gem of a course.

We took a last minute decision to book this the night before and the price was very reasonable. We turned up slightly early and the pro took us out to show us the 1st tee and explain the layout of the course. We teed off slightly early and saw no-one ahead of us all round - there was no-one behind either. Pace of play was just over three hours for a two ball. The course has a good mixture of holes and also has great views over the river Forth and towards the mountains to the north. There was not a lot of wind that day so I think the course was playing easier than usual. It would be a tougher test with a howling westerly coming in. Overall highly recommended.

    Great Value

Really enjoyed the course. Had a good variety of holes and great views down the Forth estuary. Will definitely be back.
