Falkirk Tryst Golf Club was founded in 1885 and resides in the town of Stenhousemuir, three miles north of the town of Falkirk. The golf club itself is known for the outstanding condition of its greens and fairways, throughout the year, which benefit from sitting atop a sandy soil base. The clubhouse itself offers changing rooms along with a restaurant and bar.
The Honorary Professional to the R&A Jon Panton was quoted as describing the course "as one of the best all year round courses in the area." A great mix of holes on sandy soil make this inland course an almost links-like test.
