Dunblane New Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course that was jointly designed by Major Cecil Hutchison and James Braid back in the 1920s. This par 69 golf course measures just under 6,000 yards in length and is said to be a good test of golf for any golfer. The course has played host to a variety of amateur and professional events over the years from county championships to Pro-Ams.
Located just 6 miles north of Stirling, easily accessed via the A9.
Played the course twice whilst on a golf week in area. Couse is in decent condition for the time of year and represented a good challenge. Holes were not too long and well thought out. Couple of blind drives on downhill slopes which required careful watching. Pro was friendly and club house very pleasant. Non golfing tip - try Tillys café for coffee and cake in Dunblane near cathedral (fantastic food)
I recommend this course
