Deer Park was designed and built by Peter Allis, Dave Thomas and Peter Clark in 1978, and has become one of Central Scotland’s leading Golf & Country Clubs. It has been host to many golfing events, some of which were the Scottish PGA Championship and was a regional qualifying course for The Open Championship.
Deer Park Golf Club provides an interesting challenge when there are windy conditions. The front nine holes are routine straight fairways, but the back nine provide a test due to the mountainous terrain.
