Bathgate Golf Club has produced some of the country’s finest golfers including two Ryder Cup captains, Eric Brown and Bernard Gallacher, as well as the PGA Tour Professional, Stephen Gallacher. Further prestige comes in the shape of Sam Torrance who holds the course record of 58 and James Braid who provided his recommendations to improve the course back in 1935. The clubhouse has three bar areas to choose including the Golfer’s bar with Pool table and satellite television and the Centenary Lounge overlooking the 18th hole and putting area.
Being the home of two Ryder Cup Captains and with Sam Torrance holding the record of 58 on the James Braid altered course, Bathgate Golf Club’s accolades are testament to the standard of golf you can expect at this venue.
