Course Information

Built for the patient golfer, positioning rather than power is the best strategy for tee shots, and club selection is paramount for the par 3s. Trees and bunkers present the biggest threat to errant shots and have been used to their full potential to protect the greens requiring a good approach shot to navigate around them. The signature par 3, 6th hole is testament to this with water hazards and sand traps guarding the small green where only a direct shot from the tee to the centre of the green will achieve par.

    Lisburn Golf Club

Pro shop wasn't open when we arrived, which didn't allow us to get a scorecard which was poor. Course is excellent and really enjoyed the round.

    Winter golf at Lisburn GC

Very good parkland course in good condition considering it's winter. Only one temporary green. One of the best parklands in the Greater Belfast area, along with Malone GC and Belvoir GC. I can't wait to play it again in warmer conditions. Picturesque and challenging.

    A very friendly parkland course

From first contact with the pro to members and staff in the grill, you will not be made to feel more welcome anywhere in the world. After few holes on the front nine, the club Captain came over to us and introduced himself, welcoming us to the club. I walked and my 2 playing partners had a cart. There were junior inter-club matches going on with families and members following along. Even with this activity we played in less than 3.5 hours. A challenging layout with fast firm greens and a challenging but enjoyable design. It was an experience I will remember fondly for many years.

    Lisburn

Excellent Parkland Course, superb condition, only slight downside was the pace of play, but it was down to a 16 team senior comp in front of us, didnt mind though as it was great day and lovely course, highly recommended.

    Lovely Lisburn !!

A truly beautiful golf course.Water features, lots of bunkers, and some breath-taking plants and shrubs, make this a pleasant experience, even if you are not having your best golf day ever !!! With the exception of the par threes, every fairway is tree lined,so accuracy is paramount,as a combination of (short, but clinging) rough, and overhanging branches will play havoc with your scorecard. The greens are certainly the best I have played on this year, subtle but fair, and a great compliment to an outstanding golf course.

I had heard great reports about Lisburn Golf Club and was not dissapointed

This course certainly lived up to the all the reviews and reports. Beautful surroundings, undulating fairways and pristine greens made for a challenging but thoroughly enjoyable round of golf. I'd had concerns about finishing with a par 3 but needn't have since the 200 yard shot from an elevated tee provided a very fitting finish to a course of this standard.
