    Galgorm Castle

Played there on the 19th Feb 2017 and was pleased at the condition of the course, the greens in particular were fast and true. There is work going on in prep for the Northern Ireland Open later this year but that doesn't distract from the experience. We were lucky with the weather and the 9th hole bar was open which is welcome at any time! club is not allowing electric trolleys at this time of year although they were very accommodating. To one of our party who isn't in great health and allowed him to use. Pull trolleys not an issue as it's relatively flat. Not the first time we've played there, and not the last!!

    Enjoyable day out.

Very enjoyable course in really good condition. Greens are excellent. Tuesday is lady's day so they have priority. There is a garden centre with a restaurant on the estate so handy for lunch or a snack.

    Excellent course

I went on a typical Northern Ireland summer (wet).for a wet day the course was great the ball had bounce and had good run on fairway. The green were a bit wet had water gathering on the but as I said it was really wet. The course Handel water almost like a coast course really. Also I had to deal with member not letting us play through but that's what members do ha ha.

    Book Book Book!!

I recently had the pleasure of playing a round at Galgorm, this was my first time at the club and I would have no hesitation to recommend booking to anyone!! The pace of play was perfect, despite the recent weather the course was in great condition, staff friendless was second to none and what was a great round was topped off with a lovely meal in the clubhouse afterwards.

    Top Course!

I've played Galgorm a number of times now and I'm always impressed but this time it was superb. For early October (actually, for any time of year) the course was in brilliant condition and the round was very enjoyable. I would highly recommend it!

    Excellent Day at Galgorm

Great day out at Galgorm. A spell of warm weather had really helped the greens come on and the course was in great condition. Thoroughly enjoyable and will be back again hopefully soon! Some very challenging holes!

    Great parkland course

Set in the Calgorm castle grounds this course has been well designed utilising the large river which runs through it. A very enjoyable course.

Enjoyed it but didn't get the heart racing.

After a lot of rain the course held up well. Greens were excellent considering. Pace of play was slow I got stuck behind 4 sets of 4 balls, but hey gives me more time to practice my swing. Nice to see a course busy. Look out for bargains like on Golfnow as the £50 regular green fee isn't really justified. For this is all fur coat no knickers. Well maintained course great club house pro shop and range but the I personally find the course a little dull(for the price). In north Antrim we have a great choice of great courses and are a little spoiled. Ballycastle and Gracehill are better courses to me (if only they were a little better kept). However Galgorm is 10 times the course it's neighbour Ballymena Golf club is. Which for visitors charge a similar price as they have no special deals.

    A challenging course

For £8 per person the value was excellent and at an 11.04 tee off time it was a great time of the day to be playing. Unfortunately the weather was not as favourable and the wait between each hole was too long due to slow play of various groups in front. Course condition was average, greens where not in great condition, fairways on a lot of holes where under blue stakes so had to be placed to the side when landing on fairway. At the 10th hole the wee shop for a beer and hot dog was welcome as always, was a nice wee touch. Overall great value for money, was very busy, (slow play which affected concentration) and weather was not ideal. Was a bad day at the office for my own round as is a challenging course, especially for those with a slice off the drive. I would recommend this course though only if getting a good deal on the round.
