Some say golf in Yorkshire rarely gets better than at Normanton Golf Club. Residing within 145 acres of glorious Yorkshire countryside, this venue provides a tranquil golfing getaway. The 18 holes at the club were designed by Patrick Dawson, the same architect that played a major part in the design of some of the holes at the world-famous Augusta National. The club operates out of Hatfield Hall which has been tastefully restored retaining much of its gothic charm, whilst ensuring the needs of the twenty-first century are more than adequately met.
Although maybe not receiving the same recognition as his work on the Augusta National, this Patrick Dawson designed parkland course has certainly gained recognition as being one of the best in Yorkshire.
