Wortley Golf Club was established over 100 years ago and was developed by the second Earl of Wharncliffe. The course still forms part of the Wharncliffe estate making it an historical site as well as stunning due to its location among aches of dense woodland. Wortley Golf Clubs main aims consist of continuingly improving the course and the onsite facilities which are offered to its customers. On visiting Wortley Golf Club you can expect to enjoy a brilliant round of golf followed by helpful staff and excellent food in the modernised bar area.

Wortley Golf Club is a tricky, unforgiving course which is kept in immaculate condition all year round. The politeness of the staff and the extra facilities the club offer are a bonus to any visitors who visit the club. We would defiantly recommend playing Wortley as it is certain to be a tester even to lower handicap golfers and you are guaranteed to have a good day.
