East Riding of Yorkshire

Club Information

Brough Golf Club was officially recognised by the R & A in 1893 after being founded 2 years earlier. Starting life, like many clubs, at just 9 holes, further land was acquired in 1905 when an 18-hole course was created. The current imposing clubhouse soon followed with further land acquisitions in 1925 and course improvements continued in 1933 & 1955. The clubs history has allowed Brough Golf Club to be on the list of must-plays in East Riding and host of The Players Tour in 1999. The clubhouse is large enough to house three reception rooms, a lounge, a snug and conservatory, a twin counter bar, a gracious dining room and a summer terrace.
