Tidbury Green Golf Course is a par 72, 9-hole design that is of a championship standard. The course has recently undergone major refurbishment with a new layout, greens and tee boxes making it almost a new course. There are a number of water hazards and sand traps to avoid, both protecting the fairly small greens whose subtle undulations are sure to catch out any weak strokes.
Less than 10 miles south of Birmingham city centre, minutes from the M42.
Played early on a Saturday in December and the conditions were very good. Greens ran surprisingly well and were in good condition. Not the most challenging course with 4 of the 9 holes driveable if you can hit 250+ (two par fours are sub 230). Means that 8 holes when you play 18 are really quite short. Undulating greens were the most impressive part of the course, not easy and made you think
I recommend this course
