Hatchford Brook Golf Course is a parkland course that measures 6,143 yards in length. With several ditches coming into play, keeping the ball on the fairway is the key to shooting a good score around this course. The signature hole is the testing 16th; a long par 4 with an uphill approach and tricky green giving up very few ‘par or better’ entries on the card. Having a fairly flat layout this an ideal course for those looking for a fair test or a less arduous round of golf.
Hatchford Brook Golf Club is located 1 mile from junction 6 of the M42, just 2 miles north of Solihull.
For the cost your better of playing at other local courses. Bad greens. wet grounds. Water logged bunkers. No sand in bunkers
Course is a nice test, there aren't many simple holes and accuracy is needed off the tee. But I was annoyed at the lack of notice that temporary greens were in use - neither at the club or on the booking website. I would have chosen somewhere else if it had said that. Shame, because that ruined what was otherwise a pleasant round!
I recommend this course
Course is ok driving range next to 1st fairway is dangerous, balls are flying over fence into middle of fairway we had quite a few near misses this course should be closed down until situation is resolved
