Originally founded in 1908, Newcastle-under-Lyme Golf Club has remained one of the finest golf courses in the region throughout its history. Grand Duke Michael of Russia, the club’s first president oversaw the formation of a club which has matured into a classic woodland layout on the outskirts of Newcastle-under-Lyme. The clubhouse has two bars which provide splendid views over the putting green and the course and is the perfect place to enjoy one of the draft or hand pulled beers or a glass of wine.
A very well maintained course boasting fast greens and laid out within a traditional parkland setting. A mix of dogleg holes and long sweeping holes give provide the perfect challenge for both long hitters and those more suited to a technical style of play.
