Opening for play in 1909 and with a course designed by the famous James Braid, the Greenway Hall Golf Club is one of the best venues in Staffordshire. Its elevated position provides some picturesque views across the Peak District. The modern recently built clubhouse offers a good range of beers and ales along with home cooked meals and snacks made using locally sourced fresh ingredients. The practice facilities are second to none with a putting area and practice nets as well as a golf academy featuring video analysis equipment.
Voted the best course in Staffordshire in 2002 for the quality of its greens and overall condition this James Braid designed course provides a great round of golf with some very testing par 3s set against a stunning Peak District backdrop.
