Course Information

The dramatic sandstone cliffs, with their world-famous Follies, create a spectacular backdrop to many holes. The Hawkstone’s charm is enhanced by its parkland design, with fairways lined with mature oak and birch. The scenery is a major draw but the challenges offered by the par 72, 6,497-yard golf course, should never be underestimated.

Fabulous scenic course, some great holes.

Bagged a bargain round, in what has to be one of the nicest courses in the Midlands, course was in excellent condition, especially the greens, given the prolonged dry spell that preceeded our round. Make sure you play the Hawkstone, as the scenery is simply stunning, not a long course (even from the back tee's), but plenty of shape and lots of blind holes, and "strategy " golf required. Course was very quiet, and after four holes the three ball in front of us called us throu and we were able to play at a very comfortable pace ( 3:15 for all 18 holes). My only major gripe.......and it is really a major gripe, is that at £3,40 for a pint of diet coke, the drink prices are far too steep!
