The Peter Alliss designed golf course at Manor House Hotel and Golf Club is a real gem, with a number of streams that stem from the River Bybrook coming into play on several holes. The golf can certainly be a tough round for those that are partial to losing their concentration on pressure shots. A visually pleasing par 5, 12th is closely followed by a very difficult 13th hole that starts with a very narrow tee shot. The 17th par 3, drops down 120 feet to two greens while the last hole has been described as one of the prettiest in England.
This is a fantastic course that really should be on everyones ‘must play’ list. The top quality course is complimented by the USGA specification driving range, and a great practice area that make this an all-round great golfing venue.
