With design input from both Fred Hawtree and James Braid, this course provides an excellent test of both shot placement and putting skills. Birdie opportunities are available, as long as the slopes and undulations of the greens are used to their advantage. Hitting the fairway from the tee is vital as heathland style rough can be found running alongside a number of fairways. A unique layout coupled with some breathtaking views make this a fantastic course.
Stinchcombe Hill Golf Club is located 16 miles from Gloucester, easily accessible via the A38.
Very pleased and surprised they let buggies on, was a bit muddy on the back 9, so a massive thumbs up form me! Really good green complexes, can't wait to come back and play in the summer.
I recommend this course
