Billed as Bristol’s friendliest club, Shirehampton Park Golf Club is based high on the hill tops to the north west of Bristol. With spectacular views over the River Avon and the Gordano Valley, the course is amazingly just 4 miles from Bristol city centre. Founded in 1904 the land was originally part of the Kings Weston Estate and is now owned by the National Trust, an indication of just how idyllic the rural surroundings of Shirehampton Park are.
Just a stone’s throw away from the centre of Bristol, Shirehampton Park is a great parkland course that weaves its way around the hilltops. Its glorious setting and excellent drainage make it a delight to play at any time of the year.
