Came Down Golf Club was established in 1896 and it was here that Samuel Ryder began to formulate his idea of having a competition between British and American golf professionals - The Ryder Cup. The course itself is built on chalk based downland and offers panoramic views of the south coast and the Isle of Wight. A bar and restaurant are available in the clubhouse with homemade food on offer along with a wide selection of drinks.
A delightfully quirky golf course in the heart of Dorset’s stunning countryside. Book a tee time at Came Down Golf Club and experience a classic Harry Colt designed golf course further enhanced by the surrounding sea views.
