18 holes | par 0 | 6149 yards | Parkland
The Saltram course at Boringdon Park is an 18 hole, par 73 hilltop course that measures 6,149 yards in length. Its USGA specification greens drain extremely well and are fast and true, making it a great course to play all year round. One hole to look out for when you book a tee time at Boringdon Park is the par 3, 13th hole with its island green: walk off with a par here and you will be a happy golfer.
Boringdon Park Golf Club is situated just 3 miles north east of Plymouth city centre and can be easily access from the A38.
The Saltram Course has some testing par 4s and 5's and the short 13th (Island Hole) is particularly daunting for the high-handicapper. Although the course played very well the grass on the fairways was a bit long - probably due to time spent in the preparation of winter greens. Good weather, good course, good company, could've played better - will certainly play again.
I recommend this course
