The 9-hole Alliss Course was constructed 50 years after The Old Course at Ferndown Golf Club, and is played twice to create an 18 hole course. The purpose of the course was to complement its already well-established bigger brother. The course varies in hole length with some inviting par 3s and testing par 5s. This shorter course relies more on its natural hazards to provide the challenge demanding accuracy and concentration from the off. Although only half the number of holes of The Old Course, the standard here does not fall short and is as just as pleasing to the eye and enjoyable to play.
Only 15 minutes north of Bournemouth just off the A31.
