Course Information

This Donald Steel designed course has one major feature - the River Crane that runs through it. But the water is not your only challenge as the strategically-placed bunkers can cause even the most talented ball striker to rethink their shots. As you will find playing round it, the Valley Course is both demanding and varied enough to challenge any golfer with the magnificent looking 6th and the closing 18th where 'risk and reward' is never more evident.

    Great Course

Have played here 3 times now and all visits were over the winter months. The course is easy in places but challenging in others so will cater to all levels of player (might be a bit too easy for very low handicappers). The course can be a little boggy in places but VERY minor and it is the middle of winter after all - also, the work that is going into drainage on the course is evident and looks like it is paying dividends. The green keepers should also be congratulated as there were no temporary greens and all greens were FABULOUS for the middle of winter (best I have played on over the wetter and windy months). Highly recommended.

    Great course

Played here for the 3rd time. Fairways are in excellent condition and the greens are now running fast. Live the layout of the course with some challenging holes and some easier ones!
