The golf course at Waterlooville Golf Club is a mature parkland challenge that golfers of all abilities will enjoy. The course boasts a number of natural hazards including ponds, ditches and a stream running through all of which are waiting to catch any wayward hitting. Redesigned and lengthened by Sir Henry Cotton, the course is now regarded as one of the finest in the county, with trees beautifully lining each fairway. Due to this fact, straight and accurate hitting is essential if you are to post a good score and nowhere is this more evident than at the signature par 5 13th, which requires three accurate shots before attempting to land on a small, elevated green.
Located just 10 minutes North of Havant right next to the A3.
To start, poorly marked car park. Long queues from the first tee which only got longer as the round went on. Poor mats for tee's on some holes and the greens were very bumpy. Staff were very pleasant shame the course was not.
After arriving 10 mins late for our tee time the professional staff were very accommodating and got us all out slightly later. The course in my opinion was in great condition and a good test. The fairways were good although they had just been given the autumn maintenance. Some holes were off matts but the were ok as matts go. The greens were good and ran true. On the whole I enjoyed my visit and the course is well worth a visit.
I recommend this course
