Course Information

The golf course at New Forest Golf Club is 18 holes of heathland golf in some of the most peaceful and idyllic surroundings. The golf course is set on high ground but remains relatively flat throughout with a yardage of 5343 off the yellows and a par of 69. The highlight of the golf course is the par 5, 9th called Busketts Way. Two steady shots up the fairway will leave you with a pitch shot over a pleasant water hazard to a two tiered green. New Forest Golf Club offers a golf course geared very much towards all golfers and group bookings alike.

    Great for beginners

Bit basic up and down as such but enjoyable.greens were surprisingly quick and in good condition. Not many trees etc so you can really launch into the driver with out being blocked out. Fairways as you would expect for a forest course we're not up to much but you get winter rules all year round so not really a problem. Only cost £15 so you get what you pay for , par 3s are good and with firm greens were hard to stop the ball from height so you almost had to play them as a links style course. Like I have said for the money you can't really go wrong.

Enjoyable round. Shame it had rained so persistently for two days beforehand as you can imagine this course being really good fun in the dry. The greens were excellent, no standing water despite the poor weather. Would recommend you get a layout of the course in advance as some of the tee boxes are close to each other.
