Course Information

This fantastic golf course is the main championship course at Marriot Meon Valley and boasts the recognition of being one of the best golf courses in the southern counties. And when you play it, you will see why. Luscious greens, immaculate fairways and enough challenge to test the best of players. One particular memorable hole is the 12th with its steep slope between the elevated tee and the green which is surrounded by water.

    A good test

We were given a fairly late tee time (later than requested), which meant we had to rush the last few holes to finish before it got dark

    Meon

Meon Valley it's a very good golf course that has never reached its potential All the greens have been hollow tine This was not in their advertise meant And the pro shop did not tell us. I realise that has to be winter work but you're still charging a summer green fee

    Ridiculous pace of play

Played as a one ball, stuck behind two snot faced lady four balls who refused to let me play through even though I was waiting for them all to tee off on the par 3 12th. Ended up going back and playing the front nine twice such was the slow pace. Course condition is good and some very challenging holes, however struggling to find any other positives and staff not very friendly. Will not be returning.
