Hollingbury Park Golf Course has been used as a qualifying venue for The Open Championship. Its rolling hills and views over Brighton and Hove compliment the quality of Hollinbury Park. Its location close to the sea means that a tricky coastal wind is often something a golfer has to deal with. A great example of classic links golf.
Hollingbury Park Golf Course is located on Ditchling Road, Brighton, just off the A27.
Very friendly club some testing undulating holes with quite a few blind shots. Course layout very good, just a shame that the Greens had weeds and we're very bobbly but this did not spoil our round.
I recommend this course
This course is in a dreadful state of repair. Letters hanging off the clubhouse, tee boxes missing, greens awful, bunkers a disgrace. This course desperately needs an injection of pride. Hang your heads my time this was once a decent track. Course was empty unsurprisingly and £23 for this course at present is a joke. There are far better courses around for that sort of money.
