Established as golf club in 1933, Lancaster Golf Club has seen many royals pass through the clubhouse from Kings of England to golfing royalty, James Braid, who designed the course. The club has hosted some prestigious championships over the years including the Lancashire Amateur Championship and English Golf Union Seniors Competition. Furthering the prestige of the club is Ashton Hall, a gothic styled building dating back to medieval times that is used as the clubhouse.
Lancaster Golf Club is one of the best in the area with a James Braid design that has hosted some great tournaments including the English Golf Union Seniors Competition. The club also uses Ashton Hall as a clubhouse which has a long, distinguished history and goes towards providing an all-round unforgettable experience.
