Harwood Golf Club is a popular choice in its area, which is on the outskirts of Bolton. Having been just a 9-hole course for most of its history, in 1998 this was extended to 18 holes and has never looked back. In previous years the club has had a close connection with the Holcombe Hunt with their point-to-point races that run across some of the back 9. These days, much to the green keepers delight, this is no longer the case but the club remains very proud of its history.
A contrasting track that offers an undulating original front nine leading to a newer and flatter back nine. Although comparatively short at 6,000 yards, the contrasting landscapes, along with the additional hazards of water and sand, all go towards providing a worthy challenge, and one you will be sure to enjoy.
