The Breighmet Golf Club originally started life as a 9-hole course nearly 100 years ago. Then in 2005 land was purchased by the club to allow the course to be extended to 18 holes. Past accolades include hosting the Bolton & District Golf Championship and, with the fantastic condition of the course, it is easy to see why it was chosen. The clubhouse looks directly onto the 9th and 18th greens, making it perfect for watching the rest of the competition with a post-round drink from the bar inside.
A well-maintained parkland course with strategically placed water hazards and elevated greens, making it a stiff test that all can enjoy. Including numerous risk & reward holes a good score is obtainable for those who are brave enough.
