Since being established over 100 years ago, Silloth on Solway Golf Club has rightly grabbed the attention of the golfing world and has regularly featured in a number of golfing magazines as one of the top 100 courses in England. With the famous Alister MacKenzie playing a part in the design of the course you can see why it has hosted so many prestigious events including many Open Championship Qualifiers and, most recently, the English Amateur Championship. The original clubhouse is still used, having been upgraded from its original build in 1903, and offers good elevated views over the 1st tee and 18th green.
A great championship links course that is regularly used as an Open Championship Qualification venue and recently the English Amateur Championship.
