Established in the 1800s, Appleby Golf Club moved to its current location, on Brackenber Moor, in 1903 and is home to a Willie Fernie-designed course, known locally as ‘the Sunningdale of the North’. As a testament to the quality of the course, the club has hosted the County Championship numerous times. The traditional clubhouse is sure to provide a warm welcome, as well as offering stunning views of the Lake District and the Howgill Fells.
