Celebrating its centenary in 2012, the Reddish Vale Golf Club has a prestigious history with a course designed by Alister Mackenzie and the praise of Sir Henry Cotton. This prestige can be seen in the clubhouse which is a Victorian stone-built manor house with views over the course and even as far as the peak district beyond. A superb restaurant with an appetising menu also resides within these walls, along with a bar and a snooker table.
Designed by the great Alister MacKenzie this course is set in 100 acres of the Tame Valley, known as Reddish Vale. The Rive Tame cuts through the centre of the course placing seven holes in the county pf Lancashire and eleven in the neighbouring county of Cheshire. Described as quirky and fun this course will certainly keep you thinking - just makes sure you bring a good selection of clubs as you will definitely need them.
