Coming up to its 100 year anniversary, Hazel Grove Golf Club offers a rich history of high standard golf. Opened in 1913, it wasn’t until the following year that the club moved to its current site. It was in the early 1920’s that Dr. Mackenzie, architect of Augusta National and Cypress Point, helped shape the course to its current design seen today. In 1990 the Swiss chalet style clubhouse was opened, where golfers can enjoy a spacious lounge bar which overlooks the 18th Green.
One of Cheshire’s top hidden gems, Hazel Grove Golf Club offers a number of feature holes each presenting its own individual challenge. A newly installed irrigation system means that the course is in top shape even in the harsher winter months, which has singled out the course as a host venue for several Pro events.
