Golf has been played for over 100 years at Beamish Golf Club which resides in the grounds of a former deer park. During this long history the club and course have seen a number of changes, most notably the extension of the course to a full 18 holes in 1963 with Henry Cotton at the design helm. The clubhouse lounge and bar area looks out over the course with food available throughout the day, including a carvery option on Sunday’s.
Amazing scenery accompanies your round at Beamish and the Henry Cotton design utilises the surrounding landscape to an exceptional degree. Doglegs and some tricky holes along with elevated tee shots all add to the enjoyment factor as do the picturesque surrounds.
