Course Information

The only true links course in Yorkshire, the Cleveland Golf Course was designed by legends Harry Colt and Donald Steel. As with most links courses, your biggest challenges will be the tough bunkers and strong winds – both of which are difficult to avoid. Water hazards are dotted around the course and the sloping greens will add to the level of difficulty. We recommend that you warm up on the practice facilities to work on keeping the ball low as some of the long par 3s play into the wind. The signature par 4 14th is a dogleg right with out of bounds all along the right hand side.

    As good as ever!

It's 10 months since I last played here and a few bunkers were being rivetted. They are now in play and are a true test of your ability.Overall the course plays as good as ever and is always a joy to play and never disappoints in any aspect.

Cracking golf by the sea, a hidden gem

Lots of golfers make the trip to Seaton Carew and play the links there without playing this little gem, greens better than Seaton imo and not a bad hole on the course make this a great choice, especially in Autumn / winter.
