The club was established in the late 1960s with the course being designed by C.K. Cotton and set in 160 acres of rolling countryside. The club is situated in the parish of Brickendon just south of Hertford enjoying the peaceful surroundings, yet easily accessible from the north of London which lies just 30 miles away. The club has all modern amenities to be taken advantage of when visiting the club which overlooks the 18th green - perfect to watch other players completing their rounds.
