Course Information

Mapperley Golf Club is a challenging parkland golf course with rolling fairways and fast greens. It is a Par 71 golf course measuring around 6,307 yards off the white tees. With mature trees thrown in as well, accuracy is the key to scoring well on this golf course. The long par 5, 12th is one of the toughest with a sharp dog leg left which tests both your accuracy and length of drive. The 13th is also a tricky one with a stream crossing the fairway and a well protected green. It is certainly not a round for the faint hearted.

Compact hilly course with excellent greens

Played on a very windy day which made finding the fairways very difficult. Lots of slopes would make picking the right side of the fairway very important even on a calm day.

    Good course

Played in early January. Course was muddy as would be expected but greens were in excellent condition. Staff very welcoming & members friendly. Hilly course with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Second nine in particular had some very nice holes. No food available when we finished sadly so can't comment on this. Would definitely play again.

    little gem

Really enjoyable course to play with some fantastic holes especially on back 9. Not long but very tricky and hilly, you need a trolley. One little blip, midweek one hole is played as a par 3 instead of par 4, I would think it is because it is near school, but thats for safety reasons. Go and play and enjoy, but be ready for undulations.
