Club Information

Since the club’s founding in 1911 the course at Luffenham Heath Golf Club has had the gifted minds of Harry Colt, James Braid and, more recently, Dr Martin Hawtree invested in its design. Because of this rich design heritage it is easy to see why it is now an Open Championship Regional Qualifying venue. The course is a Site of Special Scientific Interest thanks to its unique flora and induces a calming feel throughout your round. Away from the course the clubhouse has an appealing lounge and veranda where you can sit and relax, and on a pleasant summer’s day the patio provides some delightful views over the 1st and 18th.

Our View

Luffenham Heath Golf Club rightly deserves its strong reputation as a great course, along with its Open Championship Qualifying status. With Colt, Braid and, more recently, Hawtree all playing a part in the current layout and design it is no surprise that the course offers a very pleasant and rather exhilarating challenge.
