Designed by the renowned architect Donald Steele, the golf course is a skilfully crafted layout. Every hole offers a different challenge along with fantastic views of the surrounding Derbyshire countryside. With slightly wider fairways than the Priory, the Moorland golf course allows for more attacking tee shots. Beware of strategically placed fairway bunkers, trees and rough. The 13th is the signature hole with the tee shot being narrow and trees and bushes lining the fairway. The ideal tee shot is down the left hand side setting up an opportunity to hit to a green that falls from right to left. The Moorland golf course measures 6,028 yards with a par of 70 from the white tees. Being sand based ensures that the golf course can be played to its full potential all year round.
Located just North of Derby (approximately 20 minutes from Junction 25 of the M1).
